History of Song Cau Eye Hospital

Song Cau Eye Hospital originated from a private clinic led by MSc. Nguyen Van Giap, which had operated for nearly 20 years in Thi Cau Ward, Bac Ninh City. To meet rising regional demand for eye care—and to provide modern treatment locally without requiring travel to major cities—the hospital expanded and relocated to a new facility in January 2021.

Officially opened on July 15, 2014, Song Cau Eye Hospital has since earned a strong reputation for quality eye care. Each day, it serves hundreds of patients from Bac Ninh and nearby provinces such as Bac Giang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, and Cao Bang, performing an average of 20–30 surgeries daily.
