III. MATCH FORMAT
Group Stage:
Teams will be divided into groups and compete in a round-robin format (Win 1 point, Loss 0 points).

Tie-Breaker Order for Group Ranking:
In case of a tie in points, the ranking will be determined based on the following:

– Head-to-head results (only applies when two teams are tied).
– Point differential (Points Won / Points Lost ratio) (applies when three or more teams are tied, or when two tied teams have not played each other).
– Higher total points won.
– Fewer total points lost.
– Lucky draw.

Knock-out Stage:
Round of 16 and Quarter-finals: Matches consist of 1 set to 15 points (courts are switched at 8 points), winning by a 2-point margin is not applied.
Semi-finals & Finals: Matches consist of 1 set to 15 points (courts are switched at 8 points), winning by a 2-point margin is not applied.

The knock-out draw bracket will be publicly announced by the OC after the Group Stage concludes.
Time-out: Each team is entitled to one (01) 60-second Time-out per match and one (01) 10-minute Medical Time-out per match.

IV. REFEREES AND COMPLAINTS
Referees: All matches, from the Group Stage to the Finals, will be managed by an Official Referee appointed by the OC.

– Only players officially competing on the court have the right to file an appeal.
– Complaints regarding technical issues or rules: Must be raised immediately at the time the situation occurs.

Eat Right – Play Well

2–3 days before the tournament, increase slow-release carbohydrates such as oats, sweet potatoes, and brown rice to store energy. On the morning of the competition, only eat light and easily digestible food — bread, banana, and fresh milk are the "safe – powerful" combo.

💧 Don’t forget to sip water throughout the morning, and avoid energy drinks.

When your body is sufficiently hydrated and energized, your reflexes and endurance will always be at peak performance.

Warm-up & Stretching in 10 Golden Minutes

Do not underestimate this part — it determines 80% of your performance. Start by rotating your wrist, ankle, shoulder, and knee joints. Then jog slowly for 2 laps around the court.

💪 Gentle stretching of the thighs, hips, and shoulders helps blood circulation and reduces the risk of injury.

When your body is properly warmed up, every swing is smooth – getting into the rhythm right from the first shot.

Tournament Psychology – Calmness is Strength

A stable mind creates accurate reflexes. The night before the match, get enough sleep – eat light – turn off your phone early. A stable mind creates accurate reflexes.

The night before the match, get enough sleep – eat light – turn off your phone early.

The next morning, take 3 deep breaths before stepping onto the court.

💭 Think: “I play to enjoy – not to fear losing.”

Stable mindset = fast reflexes = playing naturally = true performance.

Equipment & Accessories – Minimalist But Optimal

Double-check your paddle, grip tape, wristbands, towel, and personal water bottle. Your shoes should be ones that offer good grip – are light – and non-slip to increase stability during lateral movements.

🩹 Bring band-aids, cold spray, or pain relief patches in case of muscle strains.
Small details make a big difference – don’t let “lost points” happen because of your gear.

Maintain Spirit & Energy All Day

Don't let your energy drop mid-session. Bring a protein bar, or some cashews – compact, light, and nutritious.

🎧 If possible, put on your favorite music playlist during warm-ups – it helps boost dopamine and reduce stress.

Smile often, shake hands, and take photos with your teammates.

Because in the end, Pickleball is about joy – not a war.
