Dr. Bui Tien Hung, Specialist Level II in Ophthalmology, is a highly experienced and skilled eye surgeon in Vietnam. With over 20 years dedicated to the field, he has directly performed tens of thousands of surgeries, including refractive procedures, cataract extractions, and complex retinal disease treatments—helping countless patients regain their vision and quality of life.
Graduating in General Medicine and later completing his Specialist Level II training in Ophthalmology at Hanoi Medical University, Dr. Hung has continuously pursued advanced knowledge and kept up with the latest techniques in ophthalmic care. He has undertaken numerous specialized training courses across Asia, mastering cutting-edge surgical methods such as Phacoemulsification, LASIK, Phakic IOL, Femtosecond laser surgery, and retinal laser therapy—ensuring patients receive the most effective, safe, and modern treatments available.
Currently practicing in both Hanoi and Da Nang, Dr. Hung has also served as the Vice President of the Asia Phakic Board Association (APBA) in Vietnam since 2002. This role is a testament to his recognized expertise and international contributions to the field of refractive surgery, particularly in the use of Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) technology.
